Mission Residence

This major remodel of a 1920’s townhouse was inspired by the quaint charm of the original home.  Tucked into a quiet street in the heart of San Francisco’s bustling Mission neighborhood.  The resulting home provides a cozy escape for a young family.

In order to embrace the cottage-like feel of the original home, traditional elements are executed with modern detailing. The angular breakfast nook is nestled into the classic bay window.  The windows, with traditional divided lites, were hand painted black on site and finished with limestone sills. The home’s palette was completed with reclaimed brick, custom stained wood and hand troweled plaster.
